Focusing on product and brand publicity, Alycia develops and executes a variety of PR initiatives including new product launches, promotional media tours, event promotion, brand positioning, and long-range strategic planning. She works closely with mainstream consumer media outlets as well as all of the top outdoor and snowsports publications and sporting goods trades.
Well-versed in pro-active media relations, Alycia wins prominent coverage for her clients in target publications, with frequent successes appearing consumer publications like Men’s Health, Men’s Journal, National Geographic Adventure, Outside, Self, Shape, The New York Times, and Wired. Her televised media successes include product coverage on National Geographic’s Ultimate Explorer on MSNBC, ABC’sThe View, CBS’s The Early Show, NBC’s Today Show, Resort Sports Network, and Tech TV.
Alycia’s passion for the outdoor markets has sprung from her own dedication to climbing, surfing, skiing, yoga, and running competitively. Her active accomplishments include the Big Sur and Boston marathons, climbing high peaks from Northern California to Ecuador’s volcanoes, and three years of instructing intensive Bikram-style yoga classes. These days you’ll find her on the rock or the waves in the warmer months, and enjoying winter when the snow flies.
